Explore the area by bike or hike our wonderful mountains and alps. The provincial capital and town of W.A. Mozart, Salzburg (approximately 70 km away), offers everything for the cultural pleasure.

Winter

The magnificent snow-covered winter region invites you to winter hikes (snow-boots hikes, cross-country skiing, hikes with torches, coach tours). You can find your perfect ski enjoyment in the top skiing-areas Rauris, Dorfgastein, as well the Europasportregion Zell am See/Kaprun. The ideal height above sea level and the safety of snowfall with the usage of wide spread functional snow cannons ensure fun in the snow from the beginning of December until the end of April. In the nearby located glacier ski-area Kaprun/Kitzsteinhorn wintersports can be even done from the beginning of September until the end of May. Ski bus, free of charge, to Rauris and Dorfgastein available. The good old-fashioned chalets offer culinary specialities from the region. Nearest thermal bath in Badhofgastein and also the Alpen-SPA Kaprun.
